We learn the Qur’an not only because it brings peace to our hearts, minds, and souls, but also so that we may enter Paradise the highest level of Jannah (Al-Firdaus) insha’Allah.
And also so that we may honor our parents with the crown of dignity on the Day of Judgment.

Prophet Muhammad said:

“Whoever recites the Qur’an, learns it, and acts upon it, his parents will be crowned on the Day of Judgment with a crown of light whose brightness is like the sun. They will be clothed with two garments that the whole world could not equal. They will say: ‘Why have we been given this?’ It will be said: ‘Because your child took (held fast to) the Qur’an.’

“The one who is proficient in the Qur’an will be with the noble and righteous scribes (angels). And the one who recites the Qur’an and stutters in it, finding it difficult, will have two rewards.”

“It will be said to the reciter of the Qur’an: ‘Recite, rise up, and recite with measured recitation as you used to recite in the world, for your rank will be at the last verse you recite.’
(Prophet Mohammad said)

“Do you see now why the Qur’an is so important?
We should give it not only our time and effort, but rather our whole lives.
